Bouncer is an AI-powered spam filter for contact forms, operated by Naptown Labs. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

What we collect

• Account data: Email address and authentication credentials when you sign up.
• Form submission metadata: IP addresses, timestamps, timing data, honeypot field signals, and content heuristic scores. These are used to determine spam verdicts.
• Usage data: Pages visited, API calls made, and feature usage within the dashboard.
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

What we do NOT collect

We do not store the contents of form submissions. Only metadata used for spam scoring is retained. Raw form field values are processed in memory and discarded.

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the spam filtering service.
• To display submission history and verdicts in your dashboard.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts).
• To detect abuse of the platform.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Bouncer:

• Stripe for payment processing.
• Turso for database hosting.
• Resend for transactional email.
• Vercel for application hosting.
• Google AdSense for advertising on public pages.

Data retention

Submission metadata is retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Google AdSense may set additional cookies for ad personalization on public pages.
