1. Acceptance

By using Bouncer ("the Service"), operated by Naptown Labs at formshield.naptownlabs.dev, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bouncer is an AI-powered spam filter for contact forms. It provides spam scoring via a JavaScript snippet and API, a dashboard for reviewing submissions, and webhook notifications.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the spam detection system.
• Submit fabricated or automated traffic to inflate usage metrics.
• Resell access to the Service without written permission.
• Use the Service to collect, store, or process data in violation of applicable privacy laws.

5. Pricing and Billing

Bouncer offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

6. API Usage and Rate Limits

Each plan includes a monthly submission limit. Exceeding your limit may result in rejected submissions until the next billing cycle or an upgrade to a higher plan. We reserve the right to rate-limit or suspend accounts that abuse the API.

7. Fail-Open Design

Bouncer is designed to fail open. If our service is unavailable, your forms will continue to accept submissions without spam filtering. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or 100% spam detection accuracy.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not store form submission contents. Only metadata used for spam scoring is retained.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by Naptown Labs. You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your submission metadata for the purpose of providing spam filtering.

10. Limitation of Liability

Bouncer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Naptown Labs is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, spam that bypasses filtering, or legitimate messages incorrectly flagged as spam.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or abuse of the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
